Cloverleaf ADTEC PSS
The Cloverleaf Adtec PSS brings about a major re-think to all pond keepers/hobbyists who acknowledge the proven virtues of multi-bay filter systems, and the importance of water clarity.
The key to the ADTEC is to remove/trap suspended solids from the water before it enters the biological filter chambers. This is done with the integral Particle Separation System (PSS) which replaces the vortex chamber on the standard models. It is claimed to achieve a 100% increase in filter efficiency.
The increased efficiency is achieved by the PSS and its unique media.
The PPS chamber is so efficient at removing solids it prevents contamination by waste solids into the following chambers media. This improves water flow around the media helping the biological breakdown of the free toxins in the water.
The removal of the solids in chamber one now allows chamber 2 to be a biological chamber rather than a mechanical in the standard models.
The filtration capacity of the ADTEC is even further increase as the unique PSS media in chamber one not only acts mechanically, it also provides a massive surface area for biological filtration.
When it comes to cleaning only pond water and compressed air are used in the PSS chamber, allowing the helpful bacteria to survive the cleaning process.

ADTEC Professional CL Advanced Multi Bay Filter incorporating PSS and Active Bed Technology
In a four chamber system, the first chamber consists of a PSS system, the second and third chambers, contain jap mat, and the fourth chamber the active bed system.
The active bed system increases the amount of living bacteria in the filter, which in turn exponentially improves the biological breakdown of fish waste and organic residue. Therefore allowing the pond keeper to use a smaller sized filter, for a larger volume of water.
